Zelensky declared Ukraine's readiness to adhere to the Easter truce


Ukraine is ready to adhere to the Easter truce announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on Saturday, April 19, by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
"Ukraine will act in a mirror manner, as it will from the Russian side. Silence in response to silence, blows in defense of blows," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
On April 19, Putin announced the Easter truce. At the same time, the head of state stressed that the Russian military must be ready to repel possible violations of the truce and provocations by Ukrainian militants.
On the same day, The Washington Post (WP) wrote that the head of the Kiev regime initially rejected the Russian proposal for an Easter truce.
