Russian-American crew returns to Earth from ISS

The Russian-American crew of the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft has begun returning to Earth after eight months of work on the International Space Station (ISS). This was announced on April 19 by the press service of the Roscosmos state Corporation.
"Astronauts have been living and working on the ISS since September last year — conducting scientific experiments, taking ships and going into outer space, sharing with us incredible images from aboard the ISS," the statement said.
The company clarified that the closure of the transition hatches between the spacecraft and the Rassvet module of the Russian segment of the ISS is expected from 21:35 to 21:55 Moscow time.
On April 8, the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft delivered a crew consisting of Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Alexey Zubritsky and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim to the ISS. It is specified that it docked automatically to the Berth node module of the Russian segment of the ISS at 11:58 Moscow time.
