Russian servicemen who returned from captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shared their emotions. The video was distributed by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday, April 19.

"I still can't believe I'm home. [We] were changed, changed shoes, fed. Thank you very much! My mother is at home, my brother is waiting, the whole family, in general," the fighter said.

The second soldier noted that today's homecoming day is long-awaited for all of them. His parents and girlfriend are waiting for him at home.

"They exchanged it today. A couple of days ago, when they told me the lists, I couldn't believe it. I probably still don't believe it. <...> I haven't heard my mother's speech in six months," another serviceman confessed.

The prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kiev took place according to the formula 246 to 246 earlier in the day. The returned Russian soldiers were sent to the territory of Belarus. The exchange was facilitated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
