Russia stressed the importance of Ukraine's observance of the Easter truce

The observance of the Easter truce in Ukraine depends on the actions of Kiev and its "real masters." This was announced on April 19 by Russian Senator Andrei Klimov.

"This is very important, and the world will see who is who. Who really, like Russia, is fighting for a lasting and just peace, and who is actually fighting for the continuation of hostilities. At the same time, we'll see how Washington will react to all this, because it's not just about certain appeals, but about concrete actions," he stressed.

Klimov noted that the Easter ceasefire proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin is a very humane step.
