The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea has launched an investigation into the power outage in Yalta and neighboring towns. This was announced on April 19 in the press service of the department.

"During the organized supervisory measures, an assessment of the activities of the bodies on compliance with the requirements of housing and communal services legislation will be given," the prosecutor's office's Telegram channel clarifies.

Earlier, the Minister of Fuel and Energy of Crimea, Vladimir Voronkin, reported in the Telegram channel that more than 12 thousand people were left without electricity due to technological disruptions in the networks.

On April 5, due to a squally wind, numerous wire breaks occurred in Khakassia. This led to power outages.
