Avangard beat Lokomotiv in the fifth match of the KHL playoff series

Avangard Omsk defeated Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the fifth match of the second round of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs. The match took place on April 19 and ended with a score of 3:2.

Igor Martynov, Damir Sharipzyanov and Evgeny Kulik scored goals for Avangard. Maxim Berezkin and Rushan Rafikov scored for Lokomotiv.

In a series of up to four wins, the Yaroslavl team leads with a score of 3:2. The next meeting will be held in Omsk on April 21.
