The exploits of Soviet heroes were remembered at the Chinese Embassy in Russia

The Chinese Embassy in Moscow recalled the exploits of Soviet heroes who took part in the Sino-Japanese war. The honorary guests were the descendants of the pilots of the volunteer aviation group of the USSR. Izvestia on Saturday, April 19, showed footage from a special photo exhibition dedicated to the events of those years.
During the war, the pilots shot down over a thousand enemy aircraft, and they also trained the Chinese military.
"The Chinese people will never forget the invaluable support provided by the Soviet people during the war of resistance to the Japanese invaders," said Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui.
The book "Aviation of the Great Neighbor" by historian Anatoly Demin was also presented at the meeting. It contains the memoirs of the pilots and unique documents of that time.
The two-volume book itself is published in Chinese.
Relations between Moscow and Beijing are developing in different directions. In particular, on February 24, during a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Chinese leader called Russia and China good friends.
