The police in Kiev dispersed the opponents of the LGBT festival

Police in Kiev near the Zhovten cinema dispersed opponents of the LGBT festival (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in Russia and is prohibited). This was reported on April 19 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
Dozens of festival opponents can be seen on the footage posted on his Telegram channel. Their faces are covered, and Nazi symbols are visible on their clothes. These people clashed with law enforcement officers, who tried to disperse them.
As noted by "Country.ua", among the participants were minors, who later complained about the actions of the police, who dispersed the rally.
Holding an LGBT festival on Holy Week has caused a scandal in Ukraine. In particular, representatives of the Canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) called the event an outrage. The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, said that the organizers of the festival "have nothing sacred."
Earlier, on April 14, the Kiev City State Administration (KSCA) requested that mass Easter services be limited and that they be broadcast online.
