A unified timetable will be introduced in Russian schools from September 1. This was announced on April 19 by the Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov.

"Work is being completed on a unified lesson schedule for schools," he told RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the staffing tables will allow you to identify the workload for teachers, as well as take into account the number of lessons and students for the teacher. The introduction of a unified timetable will also allow students not to skip parts of the curriculum when moving from one school to another.

There will also be a standard for conducting control and verification work — their number should not exceed 10% of the number of lessons in the program.

On April 14, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation approved standards for the time of homework for elementary school students. In the first grade, students should spend one hour on homework, in the second and third — one and a half hours, and in the fourth — two. At the same time, schools are required to monitor the amount of homework in each subject.

A day earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced that from September 1, schools' educational programs will be synchronized with the general state exam (OGE) and the Unified State Exam (USE). He also called it an important step to limit the number of tests that students write during the year.
