Russia welcomes the beginning of an indirect negotiation process between the United States and Iran on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Iranian news agency IRNA on April 19.
He pointed out that negotiations should continue on the basis of mutual respect between the parties, which will take into account each other's interests.
"We are convinced that all issues related to the Iranian nuclear program and the JCPOA should be resolved exclusively through political and diplomatic means," Peskov said.
