Sobyanin spoke about the general cleaning on the roads of Moscow

During the seasonal general cleaning on Moscow roads, about a million objects will be prepared for the summer. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.
"Clean road elements and traffic lights are not only beautiful, but also safe for drivers and pedestrians," he said, adding that the dirt, dust and anti—icing materials that have accumulated over the winter period significantly "impair the visibility and functionality of road facilities."
Data center maintenance services and the organization of the Urban Complex are engaged in maintaining their condition throughout the year, but "there is especially a lot of work in the spring," the mayor emphasized.
Currently, as part of the landscaping month, about 900,000 road signs, over 63,000 traffic lights, 376 road signs, almost 600 LED signs for remote information output, almost 5,000 bicycle parking lots and 1,284 pedestrian navigation steles will be put in order in Moscow.
The mayor added that all work is carried out on weekends and during off-peak hours so as not to interfere with traffic.
In January, Sobyanin spoke about the development of Moscow's largest highways. In particular, according to the mayor, a link is being built on the Moscow High-speed Diameter from Kantemirovskaya Street to the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow Railway, which will improve transport accessibility in five districts of the city at once. Motorists will have a comfortable access to the M-4 "Don" highway without running over the highway.
In addition, another major project is underway — the connection of the MSD with the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway. On the final section of the highway — from Polyana Street to Varshavskoye Highway — a new overpass is being built in the alignment of Varshavskoye Highway, an overpass towards Polyana Street and an overpass through the tracks of the MCD-2, Sobyanin said.
