Investigators have identified three Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders involved in the UAV attack on Kursk.

Military investigators have identified the names of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who led the massive air attack on Kursk on the night of April 15. This was announced on Saturday, April 19, by the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

"Military investigators, in cooperation with the Main Directorate for Countering Extremism of the Russian Interior Ministry, have identified the Ukrainian commanders involved in the massive attack on Kursk on April 15," she said.

Among the defendants are Colonel Dmitry Bondarovich, commander of the 14th separate regiment of unmanned Aerial Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Colonel Andrey Dzyaniy, commander of the 383rd separate brigade of unmanned aerial systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Vitaly Sendzyuk, Deputy commander of the 383rd separate Brigade.

"Under their command, Ukrainian militants deployed more than 100 drones to attack Kursk," Petrenko said.

It is specified that as a result of an unmanned attack in the city, an elderly woman was killed, nine more people were injured. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities, as well as ambulances, were damaged.

Measures are currently being taken to establish the location of the militants.

On April 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russian energy facilities six times a day. The strikes were carried out in Bryansk, Kursk and Kherson regions. In particular, the militants attacked a high-voltage line located in the Kursk Railway District with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). As a result, residents were left without electricity.

The Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a" and paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").
