The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over a batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Defense Ministry. This was announced on Saturday, April 19, in the Telegram channel of the corporation.

"The UAC has handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense a batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers. The aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory tests, were tested in various operating modes and flew to their home airfield," the press service said.

As Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, noted, the fighter is the basis of the strike power of Russian front-line aviation. Nicknamed the fighting drake, it is the best aircraft in its class.

The bomber is designed to destroy ground, flood and air targets, infrastructure facilities protected by an air defense system. It can also be used for aerial reconnaissance missions.

Earlier, on March 31, a Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) bombed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region. The footage of the combat mission was shown by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
