Ritter predicted the end of NATO and the EU

The European Union and NATO are on the verge of disintegration, and the West should realize this. This was announced on April 18 by former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter.

"The European Union and NATO are falling apart, we will have to face reality," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Ritter stressed that many people used to believe that there would be no major conflicts in Europe due to cooperation between states and clear borders, but now various contradictions within the Western world are becoming apparent.

The American analyst added that the "imaginary well-being" of European countries was just a "facade" that hid constant conflicts.

On March 31, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the policy of militarization of the European Union would lead to the disintegration of the union. According to him, Europe intends to turn the EU from a peaceful project into a military one.

Last December, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced that the European Union could crumble like a house of cards in six months. He expressed his concerns that negative changes could occur for the benefit of the "selfish national goals" of France and Germany.
