The attitude towards Ukraine in Germany is getting worse even from anti-Russian politicians in connection with the human rights violations that occur there. This was announced on Saturday, April 19, by Olga Petersen, a former deputy of the Alternative for Germany (AfD).

"Even the German mainstream, which fully supports Ukraine and is completely Russophobic, states that these measures are unacceptable in a state governed by the rule of law," she told RIA Novosti.

As Petersen pointed out, Germany is ready to get rid of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the first opportunity.

Earlier, on April 16, Bloomberg reported that the plan of German chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz for Ukraine had exacerbated differences between the country's parties. The missile dispute is a sign that the center—left and conservative parties "will not be able to smooth over their differences easily," the newspaper noted.

On the same day, British analyst Alexander Mercuris said that the future German government, led by a candidate for chancellor, would not last long because of the wrong policy.
