Axios named the reason for Trump's possible withdrawal from negotiations on Ukraine

US President Donald Trump may withdraw from negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict because of Kiev's position, not Russia's. This was reported on March 18 by Axios, citing sources.

"Two European diplomats confirmed [US Secretary of State Marco] Rubio's words that Trump is losing patience and may withdraw from the process if an agreement is not reached soon. Three European diplomats considered that Rubio's comments were mainly directed at Ukrainians," the portal clarifies.

Earlier, Trump said that if a peace agreement could not be reached in the near future, he would move on to "other issues" of US foreign policy.
