The media learned about the ceasefire monitoring plan developed by the United States

U.S. representatives said at a meeting in Paris on the Ukrainian issue that they had developed a plan to monitor the ceasefire in Ukraine. This was reported on Friday, April 18, by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) newspaper, citing sources.
"The United States made it clear in Paris that they have developed a draft of how a comprehensive ceasefire could be monitored if it is achieved," the publication says.
The authors of the material recalled that earlier, the head of the United States Department of State, Marco Rubio, did not provide details on the issue of security guarantees for the Ukrainian side discussed during the meeting in the French capital.
Currently, we are talking only about the project. At the same time, the details of the plan are not disclosed by the source of the publication.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump said that the United States would withdraw from negotiations on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine if one of the parties tried to "complicate the process." At the same time, he stressed that he would not like to discuss such a scenario, and the American authorities intend to reach a peace agreement as soon as possible.
