The Czech Republic named the number of Ukrainian refugees working in the country

Of the 368,000 Ukrainian citizens who have received temporary protection status in the Czech Republic, 155 thousand people are employed. This was reported on April 18 by the news portal Novinky.
At the same time, according to estimates, 265.4 thousand refugees are able-bodied. This means that 110,000 Ukrainian displaced persons are not working.
Of those who did manage to find a job, the vast majority (95%) have indefinite employment contracts.
On April 14, Euractiv reported that the Czech authorities fear that soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who come to the country to join their families after participating in hostilities may join the ranks of organized crime and pose a serious threat to security in the country. Another consequence of the arrival of former soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is expected to be an increase in the illegal arms trade, the number of which will increase sharply on the black market after the end of the conflict, Shtikha said.
