Putin appointed Dmitry Bakanov to the Military-Industrial Commission

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of Roscosmos Corporation, to the Military-Industrial Commission. The relevant decree was posted on the official publication portal of legal acts on April 18.

"To include D.V. Bakanov, Director General of the Roscosmos state Corporation, in the commission," the document says.

It is indicated that the above-mentioned decree comes into force from the date of its signing.

Putin wished Bakanov good luck as head of the state corporation and explained the choice of his candidacy.

On April 8, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov said that representatives of the corporation and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA) discussed plans for the development of orbital space after the completion of the International Space Station (ISS) project and plans for the development of the lunar program.
