An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred near the shores of the Kamchatka Peninsula. On April 18, the Kamchatka branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences" announced this on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that a natural disaster occurred at a distance of 460 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The tremors were recorded at a depth of 66.2 km.

On April 16, an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 was recorded on the Philippine island of Mindanao. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 31 km, 107 km southwest of Coronadale.
