Traditionally, Tverskaya Square will be one of the central locations of the Easter Gift Festival, which will be held in Moscow from April 19 to 30. This was announced by the organizers.

Guests of the site will be able to learn about different painting techniques and participate in master classes.

This year, the theme of the decoration was flowers: 29 growth eggs will be decorated with garlands and wreaths of living plants. Each egg will be placed on a podium flower bed surrounded by ampel plants, willow trees and spring shrubs. In total, more than 700 trees, shrubs and flowering plants were planted on Tverskaya Square for the holiday. Among them are weeping Himalayan and Lebanese cedars, cypress trees and oleanders, rare for Moscow.

The architectural structures of the square are decorated with ornaments of the 19th century, with floral motifs.

The creative workshops will host lectures and workshops dedicated to Russian floral patterns. Visitors will find out what meanings are hidden in floral ornaments on clothes, dishes and books, and they will try to master traditional types of painting themselves. Guests are invited to master classes from 13:00 on weekends and from 16:00 on weekdays. Participants will be able to make a festive gift — a bouquet in antique technique on a lime plate, master the art of making bouquets from edible flowers, as well as learn the history of Faberge eggs, see photos and create their own souvenirs.
