18 people injured in Zimbabwe train collision


When a passenger freight train collided near the city of Gwanda in Zimbabwe, 18 people were injured. Zimbabwe Mail reports on this on April 18.
"A serious train collision near Gwanda early this morning led to the hospitalization of 18 people," the newspaper said.
It is specified that the accident occurred between a freight train and a luxury train of the Rovos Rail company, on which 47 foreign tourists were traveling.
On April 18, two children and an adult were injured when a car collided with a train in Dagestan. The accident occurred at 08:30 Moscow time at a railway crossing on the 482nd km of the Stavropol– Prokhladny–Mozdok–Kizlyar–Krainovka highway. It is specified that as a result of the collision, the driver himself was injured, as well as two of his minor passengers, boys aged four and 10 years old. All three were taken with injuries to the Central City Hospital of Kizlyar.
