Tire service in Russia has risen in price by 12 over the year%

In March 2025, the average receipt for custom orders that have a tire repair service amounted to 7,219 rubles, which is 12% more year-on-year. This was reported by analysts of the international car service network Fit Service, their research is available to Izvestia.

The tire repair season started earlier than usual this year, experts noted. In March, there were spikes in demand for this service in the Southern, Central, North Caucasus, Volga, and Northwestern Federal Districts. April marked the active rubber change season in the Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern districts.

The number of tire repair services in March was 78% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, April showed a decrease in demand by 15% year-on-year. The number of seasonal tire repair services in car owners' March receipts increased by 82% compared to last year, analysts estimate.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in March 2025, Russians began to buy larger-diameter tires more often. Compared to the first month of last year, the number of tire repairs with wheels with a diameter of 19 inches has more than doubled (by 159%), with 18—inch wheels by 140% and 22-inch wheels by 100%.

On April 16, it was reported that for the year from March 2024 to March 2025, the average price of premium summer tires for passenger cars increased by 3.6%, while winter tires increased by 8.9%.
