At the Good Friday service at the Sretensky Monastery in Moscow on April 18, the Turin Shroud was taken out.

In the Izvestia footage, you can see how the clergy carried her out through the deaconal side doors. Then the shroud was placed in the middle of the temple, after which prayer began.

On the same day, on the eve of Easter, Italian scientists reported on the first reliable identification of the Turin shroud, which Jesus Christ was wrapped in after his crucifixion. As a result of their work, it was confirmed that the artifact is actually more than 2 thousand years old.

For more information, see the Final Program with Pyotr Marchenko, which will air on REN TV on Sunday, April 20, at 23:00.
