Yampolskaya heads the Council for the Formation of a new style of the Russian Federation at the National Research Center "Russia"

A meeting on the creation of a new Russian style in the field of government visual communications was held at the National Center (NC) "Russia". This was announced on April 18 by the press service of the center.

They noted that the event was attended by representatives of federal authorities, leading universities of the country, experts in the field of design and architecture, as well as regional specialists.

At the suggestion of the participants, it was decided to establish a Council at the National Research Center "Russia" for the formation of a new Russian style under the leadership of Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Elena Yampolskaya, which will include representatives of leading universities of the Russian Federation and experts in the field of design and architecture.

In her opening remarks, Yampolskaya noted the importance of systematic work in this area based on traditional values and the cultural code of Russia. She thanked President Vladimir Putin for supporting the initiative to create a new style of the country.

"Now, work in this direction will begin on the basis of the National Center "Russia". I believe that we must provide absolutely everywhere in the public space a feeling of home without pretentious phrases and loud slogans," Yampolskaya said.

Natalia Virtuozova, General Director of the National Center for Russia, in turn, emphasized the importance of the NC in shaping the image of the country's future and demonstrating its achievements.

"We have already taken a number of practical steps in this direction, including the establishment of branches of the National Center in the regions, and the signing of memoranda with the Moscow Investors Club and JSC Marka on joint work on the visual image of Russia. Recently, we also held a large-scale meeting of experts to discuss the future of our country's architecture. The creation of a new Russian style will be a logical continuation of this work," she said.

The formation of a new style of the country is a strategically important area of state policy in the field of visual communications, said Alexey Zharich, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Public Projects.

The event also featured presentations of developments in the field of visual communications based on traditional values from leading universities.

On April 11, the National Center for Russia signed memoranda with the Moscow Investors Club and the Marka Joint Stock Company on a unified approach to the development of a visual country code. The document provides for the joint work of the two organizations on the visual image of the Russian Federation in architecture and urban planning. The unified architectural code will take into account the all-Russian traditions in this area, as well as the artistic features inherent in individual peoples and regions of the country.
