Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on amendments to the wearing of military uniforms. The document was published on April 17 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The changes affected, among other things, sets of field uniforms for military personnel of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Federal Security Service (FSB), the Main Directorate of Special Programs of the President of the Russian Federation (GUSP). Now the set includes insulated and demi—season trousers, hats, suits and other items.
The document also clarifies changes in the wearing of uniforms for female military personnel of the Navy, those who have the naval military rank of units, troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and employees of the FSB.
In addition, casual long-sleeve jackets have been added to the uniform set for a number of departments.
It is specified that the updates will take effect from the date of its signing.
Earlier, on April 2, Anna Tsivileva, Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, announced the creation of a Unified Prosthetics Center at the Kirov Military Medical Academy, as well as the development of a unified prosthetics standard for military personnel, which reduced the time to receive prosthetics for participants in a special operation to 3-4 months.
