Chery launches sales of Tiggo 7L crossover in Russia

Chery has announced the launch of sales of the Tiggo 7L crossover in Russia. The model is offered in three trim levels at a price of 2.78 million to 3.1 million rubles, excluding shares. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on April 18.

The body of the Chery Tiggo 7L is 40 mm longer than that of the Tiggo 7 Pro Max. The length of the car is 4553 mm, the remaining dimensions remained the same, as well as the wheelbase (2670 mm). The ground clearance is 190 mm, the luggage compartment volume is 475 liters (1,500 liters with the rear seats folded).

The Tiggo 7L is available in three trim levels in front-wheel drive and with an alternative 1.6 turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp (275 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration to "hundreds" takes 9.7 seconds. The power plant is the same as the Tiggo 7 Pro Max.

The company noted that they adapted the model taking into account the demands of the local market: it has physical climate control keys and heated seats in the basic configuration. The "medium" Prime version has a panoramic roof and a black ceiling.

By default, the crossover is equipped with 18-inch wheels, diode optics, a rear-view camera combined with rear parking sensors, cruise control, a full "winter" package, dual-zone climate control, six audio speakers and other options.

More expensive options include an all-round view system, front parking sensors, a panoramic roof with a sunroof and curtain, a full-size spare wheel, an electric tailgate, wireless charging, atmospheric interior lighting, front seats with ventilation and an ADAS assistant package, including adaptive cruise control.

The day before, it was reported that Gak Motor Rus announced a recall of 16.9 thousand GS8 cars in Russia, which were sold between July 17, 2023 and March 24, 2025.

Jetour also announced on April 17 that it will present two new SUVs named G700 and G900 at the Shanghai Auto Show, which starts on April 23.
