In the Kizlyar district of Dagestan, three people, including two children, were injured when a car collided with a train. This was announced on April 18 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

The accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. Moscow time at a railway crossing on the 482nd kilometer of the Stavropol–Prokhladny–Mozdok–Kizlyar–Krainovka highway.

"A 38-year—old local resident, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 100, drove into a forbidding semaphore signal and collided with a train," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that as a result of the collision, the driver himself was injured, as well as two of his minor passengers, boys aged 4 and 10 years. All three were taken with injuries to the Central City Hospital of Kizlyar.

Earlier that day, an accident involving five cars occurred in Omsk due to snow, as a result of which four people, including two children, were injured. In total, more than 20 accidents occurred in Omsk due to the April snow.
