Russian dubbing actor Rudolf Pankov has died at the age of 87.


Soviet and Russian dubbing actor Rudolf Pankov died at the age of 88. This was announced by his colleagues on April 18.
"Legends go away one after another. Rudolf Pankov died this morning," the Telegram channel of the Russian Dubbing association says.
Pankov was born on September 17, 1937 in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region. In 1961, he completed his studies at the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK). After graduation, Pankov began working as a dubbing and voiceover artist at the Gorky Film Studio.
He has extensive experience voicing characters such as Arthur Weasley from the Harry Potter film series, Coriolanus Snow from The Hunger Games, Magneto from The X-Men, as well as one of the Marvel Film Studio series.
Pankov has worked on voice acting in more than 819 projects. In particular, his voice is spoken by such actors as Adriano Celentano, David Suchet, Anthony Hopkins and others.
