Two locksmiths died in a sewer well in the village of Elizavetovka, Voronezh region. According to preliminary data, they were poisoned with hydrogen sulfide. This was announced on April 18 by a source of Izvestia.

"The incident occurred on April 17th. The locksmiths of the emergency recovery works went down into the five-meter sewer compartment of the sewage treatment plant to pull out the pump after pumping out the wastewater," the source explained.

It is noted that the ventilation system could be faulty in the sewer. The victims were 46 years old and 51 years old. In addition, a third repairman who worked with them was taken to the hospital with suspected hydrogen sulfide poisoning and a chest contusion.

A forensic medical examination has been scheduled, and an inspection is underway.

In February, it became known that in Kamchatka, five hospital builders were poisoned by chemical vapors during the flame-retardant treatment of metal structures. Then the workers were hospitalized.
