In Moscow, the Moskino Film Factory and Gorky Film Studio use world-class technologies for virtual filmmaking. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

Among such opportunities, the mayor, in particular, named the pavilion with the largest LED screen design in Russia with an area of over 300 square meters, dynamic platforms with rotation systems and other technological solutions.

Sobyanin also shared plans to create models of various urban objects with the highest level of detail. "Thanks to them, it will be possible to film Moscow without leaving the pavilion," he wrote on his Telegram channel. "It's very convenient when access to some locations is not possible."

Among the promising areas in film production, the mayor named the pre-visualization service. This technology, which is being created on the basis of a Digital twin of the city of Moscow, will make it possible to make a rough shot of the film and speed up the filming process.

The Moskino platform makes it possible to simplify the processes related to film production and the approval of filming by the Moskino film commission, to select locations and props, and to resolve other issues.

At the end of March, Sergei Sobyanin announced that it was planned to complete the creation of at least ten sets at the Moskino Film Park this year. Among them are "European County Town", "Fortress", "Middle Eastern cities", "Mines" and "Russian Medieval City".

In addition, the mayor said, it is planned to erect a multifunctional pavilion, build a warehouse complex, a multi-level parking lot and a hotel complex.

The first stage of the Moskino film Park was opened in September last year.
