An "orange" weather danger level has been declared in Moscow due to abnormally hot weather from Friday evening to Tuesday. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reports on April 18.

"The warning period is from 21:00 on April 18 to 21:00 on April 22 — abnormally hot weather with an average daily air temperature above the climatic norm by 7 degrees or more," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

A similar warning will be in effect in the Moscow region.

The day before, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital warned that abnormally hot weather is forecast from April 18 to April 22. 360.ru .

The ministry called on residents of the capital to wear clothes made of natural fabrics and hats, drink more water and, if possible, stay in the shade, according to the website. kp.ru .
