- Peskov: there is already progress on the conflict in Ukraine, but there are many discussions ahead.

Some progress has already been made in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, but difficult negotiations remain ahead. This was announced on April 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing.
"This is probably a question that needs to be asked in Washington, of course. We believe that some progress, in fact, can already be stated," Peskov said, answering a question from reporters about the likelihood of the United States withdrawing from the peace process.
According to the president's press secretary, one of the positive trends was the moratorium on strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, "which Russia adhered to."
"But of course, there are still many difficult discussions ahead," Peskov concluded.
On April 16, Peskov said that the Kremlin was not yet ready to comment on Putin's decision to extend the moratorium on strikes on energy infrastructure facilities between Russia and Ukraine.
