Lavrov noted the dynamics of the countries' dialogue after the meeting between Putin and the Iranian Foreign Minister

The meeting in the Kremlin between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reflects the unprecedented dynamics of the dialogue between the two countries. This was announced on April 18 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a long and intense conversation yesterday, and he was very pleased with this conversation. And yesterday's meeting highlighted the unprecedented dynamics of our political dialogue," the Russian Foreign minister said.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also described his meeting with Putin as meaningful.

As for the message that Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei sent to Putin, Araqchi noted that this document is a signal to the whole world that Tehran considers Moscow as its strategic partner.

In addition, the Iranian minister discussed with Lavrov the comprehensive partnership agreement between Russia and Iran.

"This agreement has become a solid foundation for building a new level of our relations, at the same time we have set ourselves a wide horizon for long—term cooperation," Araqchi stressed.

On April 8, trilateral consultations were held in Moscow with the participation of Tehran and Beijing.

The Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in the capital on April 17. On the same day, Putin received Arakchi in the Kremlin.
