Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia have released video footage of the April 18 detention of a foreign citizen in the Krasnodar Territory, who is accused of preparing a terrorist attack on behalf of the Ukrainian special services.

The recording shows how armed police officers suddenly raided the suspect's apartment and then, ordering him to lie down on the floor, handcuffed the man.

According to the FSB, a foreigner born in 2000 is involved in gathering intelligence information and preparing a terrorist attack in Russia in the interests of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). Last December, he was recruited via messenger. According to him, he agreed to such an activity for the sake of "easy and quick earnings," clarifiesГазета.Ru ".

For a reward, the man had to carry out terrorist attacks, as well as collect data on the locations of ships of the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian military in the region.

Earlier on April 18, the FSB Public Relations Center reported that special service officers in Novorossiysk had detained a man who was supposed to carry out an explosion in the city's administrative building, where Russian military personnel were gathering.

A ready-made improvised explosive device weighing 2.5 kg was seized in his hiding place. A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Preparation for the commission of a terrorist act"). The defendant admitted his guilt and is cooperating with the investigation.
