Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended the term of civil service to Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin. The relevant document appeared on April 18 on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

"<...> Mikhail Yuryevich Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, should extend the term of federal state civil service until June 14, 2026," the decree says.

It is specified that the decision was made in accordance with the provisions of the federal law "On the State Civil Service of Russia."

In October 2024, Putin extended the term of federal public service beyond the age limit to Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, who turned 71 in August, until August 27, 2025. The decision was made in accordance with the provisions of the federal law "On the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation."
