Victory Day parade to be held in Pskov in full-time format


In the Pskov Region, this year, the Victory Day Parade and the Immortal Regiment campaign were decided to be held in a full-time format. This was announced by Governor Mikhail Vedernikov.
According to him, the decision was made at a meeting of the regional operational headquarters and the anti-terrorist commission. The head of the region noted that security issues remain under special control. It is necessary to use all forces and means.
The heads of municipalities were instructed to coordinate the necessary security measures with the leadership of the territorial divisions, the Pskov News feed writes.
In 2025, May 9 marks the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The Victory Anniversary parade will be held on Red Square in Moscow. Many world leaders and official representatives have been invited to the event in the Russian capital. In total, more than 20 heads of state and government are expected to take part in the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
