A project to support families with children will be improved in the Murmansk region

The Murmansk Regional Duma has adopted a bill that should improve legislation in the field of social support for families with children. He is making changes to some regional legislative acts.

Thus, the list of persons who cannot be considered unemployed is being clarified. It includes citizens who study full-time in educational institutions.

Decisions on the appointment of targeted social assistance will be made more quickly. The deadline for reviewing applications was reduced from 10 to five working days.

Changes have been made to the use of the regional parent capital. It has been established that the right to additional social support measures arises when a child is born in families who have not previously used the right to such social support in another Russian region, writes the Bi-port news agency.

Earlier it was reported that the Murmansk region plans to re-establish a youth government. It will function on a voluntary basis and will become an advisory body to the main government of the region. The purpose of its reconstruction is to involve young people aged 18 to 35 in the socio-economic development of the region.
