Hydrologists have changed the forecast regarding the flood development in the Tyumen region. According to new data, the peak of flooding on regional rivers will occur on the May holidays.

This information was provided by Governor Alexander Moore. He called this year's flood atypical. The water is coming very slowly, there will be no record levels, but the high values will last for a long time.

Over the past 24 hours, the water in the Ishim River has increased by 3 cm. There is a significant margin before the "dangerous phenomenon" mark. The water rose the most on the Tura River — the level increased by 12 cm, according to the news agency " <url>".

According to earlier forecasts, the water in Ishim was supposed to reach critical levels on April 18. However, this date has been postponed to a later date.

On April 14, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenkov, at a meeting with the government, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the situation with spring floods in the country.
