The fire protection regime will be extended in the Tyumen region


The authorities of the Tyumen region decided to extend the fire protection regime for another half a month. A draft of the relevant resolution has appeared on the website of the regional government.
Thus, the ban on citizens visiting forests will last from April 25 to May 15, writes the news agency " <url>" with reference to the document. The project is currently at the stage of public and anti-corruption expertise. The final decision will be made by April 24.
In the Tyumen region, a special fire protection regime is in effect from April 5 to April 25. It implies a ban on making bonfires and visiting forests.
On April 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the government, demanded a timely response to forest fires and to avoid serious consequences. He noted that in at least eight regions of the Russian Federation, the number of forest fires significantly exceeded last year's figures.
