A fisherman who fell through the ice was rescued in Udmurtia


In the Zavyalovsky district of the Republic of Udmurtia, traffic police officers rescued a fisherman who had fallen through the ice. This was announced on April 18 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk.
"While on duty, senior police Lieutenant Andrei Chernov and police Lieutenant Denis Gryazev were approached by worried citizens who reported that a man was drowning in icy water on a pond near the Neftyanik farm," Wolf wrote on her Telegram channel.
It is specified that the police crawled up to the victim on thin ice and with the help of improvised means pulled the fisherman out of the polynya. On the shore, they handed over a 68-year-old man to the doctors.
On March 29, it became known that in the Cherepovets district of the Vologda region, four people fell through the ice on Lake Kolodenskoe. One managed to escape, three died.
Later, on March 30, rescuers recovered the bodies of three drowned fishermen. The Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region stressed that going out on the ice at this time of the year is deadly.
