In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, law enforcement officers detained a 40-year-old father of three children who died in Kansk, killed by their mother. As reported on April 18 by the GSU of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the man is suspected of torturing the fourth child (paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
"According to the investigation, from the summer of 2018 to April 2025, the suspect systematically beat his 7-year—old son using illegal parenting methods," the department's Telegram channel clarifies.
It was established that at the age of three, the child's father broke his nose. Last year, the boy showed up at school more than once with bruises and abrasions. The minor has now been placed in a social institution, where he is receiving medical and psychological assistance.
"The facts of systematic torture by the father of the child were established by the investigation during the investigation of the criminal case of the murder of three children by their mother, and are also confirmed by the testimony of witnesses," the regional agency reported.
On April 14, a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was detained in Kansk after she killed three of her children with an axe. A four-year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years were killed. A criminal case has been opened under paragraphs "a", "b", "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more minors who are obviously helpless for the perpetrator, committed with extreme cruelty"). The regional prosecutor's office clarified that the suspect is registered with a psychiatrist.
On April 15, she was charged, and the next day she was arrested. The woman fully acknowledged her own. The press service of the regional prosecutor's office clarified that until June 13, the accused will be held in a pre-trial detention center, where she will receive psychiatric treatment.
