Two self-defense fighters were killed in a UAV attack in the Belgorod region.


In the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region, two self-defense fighters were killed as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Friday, April 18, by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"Today, two self—defense fighters of the Volokonovsky district were killed on duty during an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Gladkov expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Earlier that day, a civilian was injured in a drone attack in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region. Gladkov clarified that the target of the Ukrainian militants was a truck in the village of Belyanka. The driver suffered a mine explosion injury and multiple superficial shrapnel wounds. He was taken to a medical facility.
On April 16, Gladkov reported that a Russian soldier of the Orlan unit was injured in an enemy drone attack in the Belgorod region. The soldier suffered a mine explosion injury and multiple shrapnel wounds to his limbs.
