Russian forward Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Art Ross Trophy for the third time in his career on April 18, becoming the top scorer of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season 2024-2025.

The 31-year-old hockey player made 84 assists and scored 37 goals, thereby scoring 121 points in 78 matches per season, Sport-Express clarifies.

Last year, as well as during the 2018-2019 season, Kucherov also topped the list of top scorers.

On April 8, Kucherov provided his 80th and 81st assists in the NHL match against the New York Rangers, repeating the result of Canadian Wayne Gretzky for 80+ passes in three or more NHL seasons in a row.
