At least 17 people were killed due to a US strike on the Ras Issa oil port in Yemen. This was announced on Friday, April 18, according to Al Mayadeen.

Ras Isa Port is located northwest of the Yemeni coastal city of Hodeidah.

Initially, a representative of the Yemeni Ministry of Health told the newspaper that there were 13 dead and 30 wounded among the civilian population.

Anadolu Agency reported on April 9 that more than 100 civilians have been killed since the beginning of the US attacks on Yemen. It was clarified that at least 223 people were injured.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the military to begin operations against the Yemeni Houthis. Soon, the central command of the United States Armed Forces announced the launch of a large-scale operation in Yemen.
