France announced joining the process on Ukraine

Representatives of European countries are joining the process of resolving the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported on April 17 by SkyNews with reference to an interlocutor in the administration of French President Emmanuel Macron.
"E3 (Great Britain, Germany and France. — Ed.) at the negotiating table, and we are doing this with European ambitions. It is important that today in Paris we have started a positive process in which the Europeans are involved," said the adviser to the French president.
He also clarified that a meeting of representatives of these countries is planned in London next week.
Earlier that day, the media reported on the arrival of Rubio and Witkoff in France to put pressure on Macron. The arrival of such distinguished guests in Paris shows that France plays a key role in the current international discussions. Upon arrival in Paris, the US Secretary of State noted that the sole purpose of the visit was the intention to move forward in achieving a settlement in Ukraine.
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said on April 17 that at the upcoming meeting of representatives of the United States, the European Union (EU) and Ukraine in Paris, the delegations will discuss the cessation of hostilities in the Ukrainian conflict. She added that the situation in Ukraine is unacceptable and has no military solution, so the US president is determined to stop the conflict.
