Queues of people wishing to celebrate Easter holidays in Russia are appearing at the Narva—Ivangorod border crossing on the Russian-Estonian border. This was reported by RBC on April 17.

"The waiting time at the border is longer than usual. <...> Next week (from April 21 to April 27), the opposite situation is expected, when many will return from Russia," Natalia Arefyeva, CEO of Eurolines JSC, told the publication.

It is specified that 15 to 20 people pass through the checkpoint in 15 minutes. Moreover, some of the participants in the queue offer to buy their place in order to reduce the waiting time.

On March 20, the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) did not support the bill on closing the border with Russia. 14 deputies voted in favor of closing the border with the Russian Federation, while 61 people voted against. As a result, the bill was rejected.
