Mishustin established a single operator of the electric grid infrastructure for new regions

A single operator for managing the electric grid infrastructure will be established for the regions of Donbass and Novorossiya. The corresponding decree was signed on April 16 by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"To define the joint-stock company South-Western Electric Grid Company as an organization provided for in paragraph ^5.3 of the specifics of managing and disposing of individual property objects located in the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, the Zaporizhia region and the Kherson region," the published document says.

It is specified that the order will be valid until January 1, 2026.

On April 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Mishustin to personally monitor the development of infrastructure for life. In addition, the head of state instructed to prepare a list of instructions related to the development of infrastructure in Russia and promptly begin their execution.
