Rostec State Corporation has denied that the certification of the import-substituted Superjet (SJ-100) is postponed to March 2026 due to a delay in certification of the Russian PD-8 engine, and the transfer of aircraft of this model to operators is planned for this period. This was reported on April 17 in the Telegram channel of the corporation.

"The information does not correspond to reality <...> We are proceeding within the planned deadlines. Aircraft deliveries to airlines are scheduled to begin in 2026," the statement said.

Thus, the certification of the engine, as before, is scheduled for the autumn of this year, the press service said.

Earlier, on March 17, it was reported that the Russian prototype Superjet (SJ-100) aircraft made its first flight with domestic PD-8 engines. It was clarified that the engines showed stable operation.
