Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a telephone conversation and discussed the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry on April 17.

During the conversation, the Russian minister confirmed Moscow's readiness to continue working together with Washington to reliably eliminate the root causes of the crisis in Ukraine.
